There is something about an engagement session I find a little extra special. Think about it, if you're lucky, you only get one engagement season. Enjoy it - celebrate it - DOCUMENT IT. These moments are fleeting and will come and go by so fast.

As I was chatting with Christine about what she wanted her engagement session to look like two things were very apparent. They wanted their session to be easy going and relaxing and they also wanted their personalities to be incorporated in our time together. Having your portrait taken by someone you have never met before can be a vulnerable task. It can feel awkward or uncomfortable... even for me!

As a photographer, I have couples tell me this quite often. It's normal and I promise it's nothing I haven't heard before. I always strive to make sure my couples have a good time when we are shooting together. I would rather our time together feel like a fun date night rather than "just a photoshoot." Yes, some elements are staged and posed but a lot of what I am looking for are the in between moments when you're whispering to each other, or cracking a funny to get a smile, or even when you're just sitting enjoying each others presence.

I loved the images captured with them. Here are some of the previews in their gallery. Enjoy :)

*If you like my work, and think we would be a good fit. Reach out! I want to document you and your story!
