Celebrating Tyler and Holli: A Day of Love and Joy
It was a cool, cloudy July morning as friends and family all gathered to celebrate the union of Tyler and Holli at The Brim in Platte County, Missouri. This day was truly filled with laughter, tears of joy, unforgettable moments and a Christ centered union as these two beautiful souls began their journey as husband and wife.
It has been an honor documenting their love story from the very beginning. I mean it seriously feels like I was just planning out the proposal with Tyler... and here we are, the big day! I have loved getting to connect with these two and truly growing our relationship as friends. They are the sweetest, as individuals and a couple. They both have such a gentle soul and care strongly for their loved ones.
About the venue: The Brim is a quaint, little spot nestled in the northland, perfect for an intimate wedding celebration. Whether you are having a medium or intimate sized wedding, this property has a space for you. I absolutely love the white aesthetic in their chapel and reception hall, a big bonus if you are a photographer haha.
One of my favorite images I had documented during this wedding was a photograph of Holli and her father walking to the chapel together, umbrella in hand shielding them from the morning drizzle. Holli had the biggest smile on her face - I can only image the anticipation she had been holding in from seeing Tyler for the first time! Ty was in awe of his gorgeous bride, you could see the excitement on the bridal parties face and the mothers - adorable, and both in tears. Zack performed a beautiful ceremony and the bells rang.
As Tyler and Holli mingled with their guests over champagne you could hear a small roar of their voices with laughter and memories being made. They closed the celebration with gathered prayer as the couple has made it clear in everything they do - their faith is first and a foundation for their life together.
